Message There is a great atmosphere at Z1, guys stopping by all day long with every type of Z32 you could think of. A lot of growth occuring and new facilities being built. With the level of customer service they display, it is easy to see why.

Well on to the good stuff... after a few hours of tuning Ash was able to get 499.1 rwhp/494rwtq (23psi) out of my PE1420's. There are still some issues to work out (hardware wise) so we weren't able to go for the "magical 500rwhp" number at 24-25psi. The uncorrected number was 501rwhp though... :-) My Z was also extremely heat soaked after being on the dyno for 5-6 hours. As a comparision, later on that day, Jodecy's Z lost 30rwhp due to heat soak between the first and sixth run!

I'm going to put together a very detailed post in the next week (charts and video) but I wanted to report that when we dyno'd my Z back to back (with and without the DOOLZ), the DOOLZ intake added 25rwhp/25rwtq at peak and close to that across the entire powerband! No other changes made at all. And that was only at 16 psi. Definitely a great mod for the price. Also, the spool up on the 1420's (with GD downpipes and DOOLZ) is FAR SUPERIOR to stock turbos (with gutted pre-cats and single pop). Unbelievable difference!

On to the pics...

Here was the scene all day, nice Z's (and pretty cool owners) dropping in to hang out for a while... the red convertible had sport 600's, the grey convertible had sport 550's, and the red Z had a stage 1 turbo upgrade. The others are running stock turbos (at least stage IV).

A nice side shot of Jeff's (USCZ) Z highlighting his new rims. His car is so spotless it looks brand new! The dynamat he installed makes his car sound and feel like it is a factory modded car. The whole package works extremely well together.

This helped prevent detonation at 23psi (need to go for 25psi next time!!!)

This was so funny... many of you know Jody's (Jodecy) Z as being spotless and always clean in the pictures posted on TT.net. Well, 99.9% of the time it actually is. Unfortunately, we had to drive in the rain from Charleston and got his Z dirty. When he turned his wipers on, they made a screaching noise. I told Jody he needed to replace his wipers... his comment was "I DON'T ever drive my Z in the rain, why do i need to replace them!?!?!". LOL. We didn't have time to wash his Z before heading out that morning. To add insult to injury, one of the guys at the shop said "Jody, your car looks so clean on the internet. what happened?". In case that wasn't enough... i did this:

We took this picture the next day and thought it turned our pretty nice. You can see my new front end (i tore up the GTZ-R pretty bad). Jody's Z is CLEAN again!!! Jeff's Z is looking as nice as ever.
